District Information
The First Congressional
District of West Virginia includes all of the northern counties, the
Northern Panhandle and the Eastern Panhandle.
The character of the First
District is traditionally agricultural. The economy is changing toward
an accent upon residential growth in the Eastern Panhandle and
technological growth and development in the West. Our main
transportation corridors are Interstate 68 across the entire top of the
state and Interstate 79 in the West. We are the most promising region
for the development of industry and tourism in our wonderful mountain
state.

Your vote counts. It is
the way you make your beliefs and opinions known. Go to your local
courthouse this week and register to vote. Then, no matter who you want
to win, go to the polls on 7 November and VOTE.
